I'm a 24 year old wife and proud materfamilias to two proud puppies.

And the fact that google just tried to make me type "paterfamilias" there instead has made me very mad, already.

I used to blog, and then life caught up with me, and for the time being I left it all behind. But sometimes blogging just feels cathartic so I think I'm going to start again. I guess we'll see.

Why I started this blog:

1. Being married doesn't make me boring.
2. Being married doesn't automatically make me settle down.
a. I don't want kids anytime soon.
b. I don't want to buy a house, so keep your financial advice to yourself.
3. I have a dirty mouth, an affinity for alcohol, and an interest in unacceptable dealings. I'm tired of people thinking that me being married all of a sudden means all those things should and will go away.

I'm married, not middle aged. And I think I want to use this blog to document/vent all the ridiculousness people assume of me. Societal pressures and what not.
